YouTube About to Provide Full Length Videos
YouTube is a much loved video streaming hub. This is where one can find stuff related to almost anything at all. Whether it is a late 70’s talk show, a popular TV show, a movie, a song, political speech or anything else; one can find that on YouTube.
Main problem with the video streaming center is that the videos sported by YouTube are very short in length. Usually longer programs are split into many parts. To take care of this problem, YouTube is making advancements in order to deliver longer videos in UK. ITV, Channel 3, YouTube and Sony Pictures are negotiating regarding this issue.
Google, which owns YouTube, is quiet on the speculated matter. Sony Pictures, on the other hand has commented on it rather confirmed the news by telling Media Age that, “YouTube’s aim is to do something with long-form. We are in discussions with it about that.”
This might end up with UK having three rival video providers; YouTube, Hulu and TV.com; the latter two are trying to spread their network to UK these days. UK will be the beginning point for YouTube in longer video plan; other European countries will be the next target.
