World’s Fastest Web Browser: Safari 4
Apple has announced shortly that its pretty browser is out of Beta; Safari 4 is a finished product now, ready to be used. According to the technology world giant, Safari 4 is “the world’s fastest and most innovative browser.”
It uses new Nitro engine that runs JavaScript up to 4.5 times faster and speedier than the previous version; Safari 3. Such a boost in speed makes it over four times faster than the Firefox 3, and almost 8 times faster than the IE8. All of us who love using Firefox must give Safari a thought.
Regarding pure HTML, the browser works equally nice. It loads pages, according to Apple CEO Phil Schiller, 3 times faster than the Mozilla browser, whereas more than three times faster than Internet Explorer 8.
Also, it has been optimized for latest dynamic web pages. It works pretty nicely with HTML 5 support for offline features and supports CSS Effects. If you want to navigate through the bookmarks, favorites, Top sites or web history, Safari 4 provides you with an iTunes-style Cover Flow interface that is a pleasure to sight.
Other features include full page zoom, Smart Address Field, Smart Search Field, Phishing and malware protection, etc. It is the first and only web browser to pass Acid 3. The new browser can be downloaded from Apple’s website for both Mac and Windows.
