Super ComputersThese days when everyone is looking for an economical and functional portable, Lenovo has announced two more Think Station desk top computers; the S 20 and the D 20. There are a lot of people out there who still cherish an all purpose deck top over a compact net book. After all, there are people for whom portability doesn’t mean much, and a heavy weight desk top attracts them more than any other machine.

These are named as super computers, and are designed for professionals related to every walk of life. Proficient people in their respective fields of life can get most out of such a super computer. Talking about specifications, this computer is expected to possess Intel Xeon processors with optional Intel Turbo Boost Technology for extra performance during peak processing. Also, there will be latest Nvidia Quadro line of graphics cards or ATI FirePro graphics in these super computers. Operating system is Windows Vista, with support for RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.2.

These machiens are environment friendly. 50 % material used in S20 and D20 is recycled. Also these computers have an Energy Star 5.0 rating. D20 and S20 will be available in stores from April 2009, costing almost  £980 and £780 respectively.
