Sony says that its launching the world’s first 200Hz LCD TV, Samsung also says that its launching the world’s first 200Hz LCD TV .Yeah there is a dispute between these two regarding the launch of the world’s first 200Hz LCD TV and to be ‘the world’s first’.

Both have brought forward their so-called world’s first super fast motion technology in IFA 2008 with the efforts to play down each other technology.

Officially, the companies are trying to remain tight-lipped, but stand bunnies are there to do their jobs well to keep public update with the information.

According to Sony’s SB, “Sony’s new 200Hz LCD TV will be available in October this year and its first prototype will be of Samsung’s. There are good chances that ours will the first to be commercialized.”

On the other hand, Samsung’s response was not so concrete, but they are not willing to have the prototype tag.

“So far, the claims of being the first are concerned, it’s unclear. If you enter from the north entrance, Samsung’s will be the first and if from the south, then it’s Sony’s as we both are here with the first 200Hz LCD TVs”

According to Samsung’s SB, the Korean’s TV will be available in spring 2009 and it seems that Sony’s 200Hz LCD TV will be commercialized first.
