Trend which is a very well known security vendor has given its response on the sale of McAfee to Intel and according to them it is “a clear statement to the industry and investors that security is absolutely fundamental to future technology services and products”.

The security has always being the major concerns of the industry but after some previous years when great attacks were faced by some organizations then the strong security become the chief point of focus for many.

Intel and McAfee’s deal shows that Intel is now going to work more over the security concerns, the arrival of the McAfee security to all of the Intel’s products and services will ensure the great future of this security firm.

While talking with TechRadar, Trend CEO Eva Chen gave this statement that “For current and future customers, Intel’s resources may now enable McAfee to offer protection to multiple devices and endpoints, replicating what other vendors, such as Trend Micro, have already achieved through the Smart Protection Network”.

If the deal goes on well and MacAfee goes under the complete control of Intel then it might become the separate subsidiary of Intel costing in the region of $7.7 billion and that will be a great success in terms of security concerns.
