The Android 2.2 Release Date: Some Announcements Yet To Make

The android operating system is getting one of the most famous operating systems of the world and the android phones are getting a great share of mobile markets. The android 2.2 update is one of the most awaited things regarding the android operating system and up till now there are few lucky fellows for which this update has been announced.
The Nexus one was the first mobile phone which got this update on its operating system and while releasing that the company said that “This update will be rolled out gradually to phones – and most users will receive the notification by the end of the week”. But still one limitation was brought for the Vodafone Nexus one users and according to that they will not receive the update on the specified time.
Followed by Nexus One HTC has also announced the arrival of the android 2.2 update for its latest phones, the HTC Desire is going to get the android 2.2 in Q3 and for the WildFire and Legend the date will be released later.
Some of the other brands which are making their users wait for the android 2.2 are the Samsung and Motorola and according to James King, Motorola European marketing director “It is a big undertaking that requires planning and resource and third party coordination to see this all through. As I say, once we have the decision, we will inform”.
