After the console version of online streaming service iPlayer has seen a very huge response from the customer’s side especially the gamers who have approached this application from Nintendo Wii and Sony play station III.

The BBC has announced that the iPlayer has been a very big source of attraction for the online gamers especially in the month of December. The data showed up by the official sites shows that the iPlayer is now being accessed by one out eight persons on a game console. Compared to the month of November iPlayer’s access via the Nintendo Wii and the Sony play station 3, the month of December has got the increased access rate up to about 74%.

Neither DSi nor Wii has changed their skins since their respective launches. This is why the black beauty astonishes everyone. Anyways, the elegance is for Japanese gamers alone; we have no share in it.

This black Wii is a whole package; accessories will match the color too. That means a black classic controller, black nunchuks, and equally black Wii remote. Right now, there has been no indication regarding the Wii Fit Balance Board that whether it would be painted black, too. Just imagine how beautiful the remote will look in its black cloak! Reminder: it is a forbidden dream for all of us as the black console goes in the hands of Japanese only!

nintendo.gifAnalysts’ reports show that Sony still has to bear loss on its every PS3 sale while Microsoft breaks even with its Xbox 360, but Nintendo Wii is doing somewhat well, as it makes $6 for every Wii sale.

David Gibson, from Macquarie Securities, makes an industrial analysis and the figures of the Forbes report have been based on that report.

The report shows that a huge 60% Wii console are sold to Nintendo’s own first party titles while the rates are 30% for XBobx 360 and 15% for PlayStation3.

nintendo-logo.gifThough the Nintendo Wii has crossed 7 million mark in Japan, a considerable decrease in the sales of this popular family console has been noticed there during the last month.

The Wii has proved quite successful for Nintendo, but some figures from Enterbrain indicate that there is a 24% reduction in its sale at the time when it’s entering in the second year of its life.

The figures show that around 5m units were sold by January this year that comes to 385,000 units per month on average basis, but since that time only two million units have been sold that comes to 292,000 per month.
