Intel has uncovered its new 160GB SSD that has been named as the X25-M and it will be available in a 2.5-inch version and its 1.8-inch version (X18-M) is due in the coming month.

Samsung is apparently in talks with the market’s leading memory card maker SanDisk for a possible takeover.
An online Korean newspaper says that Samsung is considering about the buyout of memory card maker. However, it has neither been accepted nor been denied by both of these parties.
According to Samsung’s spokesman James Chung, “Though Samsung is thinking about various opportunities regarding SanDisk, nothing has been decided yet.”
On the other hand, SanDisk said in a statement that company has conversation with multiple parties periodically for different possible business opportunities. Read the rest of this entry
