Windows 7

Windows 7 is one of the most recently issued versions of Microsoft windows for the desktops, laptops, Netbooks, tablet PCs etc. It was released on July 22, 2009. The outlook of this window seems almost similar to that of Mac OS X. One of the partner group managers of Microsoft Simon Aldous said in an online interview that they were very much interested in the Apple OS X operating system while designing windows 7.

Microsoft has strongly opposed this quote in their recent blog and claims that the “inaccurate quote” came from the Microsoft employee who was not even involved in the designing of windows 7. And they were really feeling bad that their own member had given such a lame quote.

Project NatalMicrosoft has announced a new controller free experience of Xbox 360 named as “Project Natal” at E3. This project will free the user from the requirement of a controller. It will use full body motion capture as well as voice recognition for controlling the console. For supporting this immensely impressive future concept, Steven Spielberg came on to the stage, too. No final date of the launch has been given yet.

This is a 3D motion sensor concept, which will be compatible with all the Xbox versions available currently. So, the “barrier of controller” will no more hinder the full gaming experience for Xbox users. Spielberg said in promotion of the project, “It’s not reinventing the wheel; it’s about no wheel at all.”

The new games make people think how away Microsoft is to develop Surface PC with complete 3D holographic icons and characters. It has been asked from the research team behind the creation of Surface PC for quite some time, but one shouldn’t expect to hear something from them in near future.

On Monday, Microsoft told, by the end of 2008, the sale of Microsoft’s Xbox 360’s sale rose up to 28 million video game consoles. Aaron Greenberg, Xbox 360 product management director, Microsoft Corp, said, 2008 “was our biggest year ever in Xbox history”.
