According to OLED-display.net, a new type of OLED display with built-in touch sensitive technology has been developed by the German scientists.

The screen will be uncovered at 4th Global Plastic Electronics conference in Berlin during this month. Researchers from the high tech Fraunhofer IPMS Institute are the developer of this slim and eco-friendly OLED screen.
This is, indeed, big news for the industry as there is not any additional touch-sensitive layer that is found on iPhones or sat navs. In this new screen, the touch controls are built-in to the display itself. Read the rest of this entry
