Microsoft has just released an array of new games for its coming touchscreen Surface PC.
The given virtual chess and checkers board in this game is an utterly precise recreation for real life chess and checkers game and you may find it even closer to those that you have found out till today in the form of Star Wars style holo-chess.
The new games make people think how away Microsoft is to develop Surface PC with complete 3D holographic icons and characters. It has been asked from the research team behind the creation of Surface PC for quite some time, but one shouldn’t expect to hear something from them in near future.
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has announced today that it would further build up its support for game development on PlayStation 3 (PS3) computer entertainment system. For this reason, SCEI has announced a fresh version of its debugging Reference Tool (DECR-1400A) for the PlayStation 3 and a new SDK for developers.
A Software Development Kit is a set of development tools and software libraries. Developers are can obtain this SDK by signing a license agreement with SCEI and by buying tool products.
Though the Nintendo Wii has crossed 7 million mark in Japan, a considerable decrease in the sales of this popular family console has been noticed there during the last month.
The Wii has proved quite successful for Nintendo, but some figures from Enterbrain indicate that there is a 24% reduction in its sale at the time when it’s entering in the second year of its life.
The figures show that around 5m units were sold by January this year that comes to 385,000 units per month on average basis, but since that time only two million units have been sold that comes to 292,000 per month.
