LOS ANGELES: Mull over “Star Wars III and a Half, complete with a critical scheme coil. When Lucas Arts launched “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” on Sept. 16, the video game would serve as George Lucas’ official median between 2005’s “Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of sith” and 1977’s “Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope.” In the fixture, players become Darth Vader’s undisclosed trainee and use The Force to hound the left over Jedi.

“Force Unleashed” lets gamers in using supercharged Force powers to kaput through objects, exert a lightsaber, outburst lighting bolts and throw around rivals. The game will also alter the way fans outlook “Episode IV” through “Episode VI — return of the Jedi,”LucasArts plan show the way Haden Blackman told The Associated Press at the E3 Business and Media Summit.

“There are a couple of big coils and twists in the story,” said Blackman. “One disclosure in particular gathering impacts the rest of the account all together. It goes way away from filling in gaps. We endeavor to make a viaduct on each level. The story has real inferences on ‘Episode IV.’ In a number of ways, devoid of the learner, ‘Episode IV’ couldn’t happen.”
Versions of “The Force Unleashed” will be accessible on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2.
