Reuters –To discuss government security concerns over “e-mail sent on the Blackberry can’t be monitored or interrupted”; Research in Motion met Indian officials on Thursday.
The Indian government, showing concern over attacks by the militants, perceives RIM’s BlackBerry as a security threat and requires Research In Motion to install servers to be monitored the e-mail traffic.
In a recent letter to Indian customers, Research in Motion announced that it had no intention to disclose confidential talks with some government. According to RIM, it doesn’t have a ‘Master key’ to decode messages and there is no ‘Back door’ entry in its security system.
