With independent App stores being launched by every mobile phone manufacturer, Sony Ericsson has planned to enter the competition, too. The mobile giant is launching an online store for mobile applications called PlayNow Arena. Announcement has been made by the company.
SE is going to team up with the independent free mobile application store GetJar. This website offers free downloads for handsets and mobile operating devices. Due to this partnership, SE will be enabled to provide 45000 applications from the very beginning for mobile phones. Premium apps for SE users will also be provided. Regarding 3rd party apps, the process of submission will be more streamlined in order to simplify it.
Rumors have at least in iota of truth in them, or sometimes even a full morsel of truth, well now there are many who are quite sure that the newest iPhone from Apple will debut in June and with its camcorder, it will be the leading phone of the industry.
According to some reliable sources, video recording is the major focus of the new cell phone and it will also port iMovie elements for easy editing of the video for the iPhone OS.
Apple has yet not announced a net book, where all the top brands are running after manufacturing affordable and functional mini laptops. It is not very strange, as Apple has made its name in trendy and pricey consumer products, and net books are everything but not expensive. Net books are made especially for students and similar consumers who need a full functional laptop but can’t afford to pay for a full size lap top.

Rumours mills seem at their best and the WWW is getting thicker and thicker with posts related to possible partnership in Apple and mobile network Orange. These rumours have emerged at the time when O2 has almost succeeded to bag an exclusive iPhone deal with Apple. It is being expected that Orange will be offering MacBooks quite soon with a heavy monthly contract along with their well-known mobile broadband dongles.
LG and Apple have signed a deal under which LG will supply displays for different Apple products including the MacBook Air.
To secure the supply of these LCD displays to Apple, the deal has been signed for five years. According to a report, LG will receive $500m as down payment for this deal, as it has been disclosed by LG in a Korea Exchange filing. According to some experts, these two companies can’t be considered as strangers for each other as some estimates show that LG is already providing nearly 70% of flat-panel displays from Apple.
