Every object in the world has some history related to it but the only difference is that some things can tell that and some can’t. The objects like box, book or any such thing can’t tell you about its details like who created it, what it carries and etc. but Billy Chasen (the original programmer behind Chartbeat ) and Seth Goldstein  (chairman and founder of Social Media) has really brought an exciting thing in this regard. Chasen has actually created a new application for the iPhones and Androids that can change the whole trend of bar-coding and it is named as ‘StickyBits’.

This new application lets a barcode to carry all the information relating to the product with which it is attached for example a barcode attached with a box of medical supple can give all the details relating to the inventory. The original mechanism is that the person who scans the barcode for the first time will leave a photo, video, audio or text message with it and whenever that barcode will be scanned the message or other multimedia scanned for the first time will be displayed. The application is free to download from the online stores but it also sells a pack of 10 vinyl barcode stickers for $10. Overall the technology towards bar-coding has been made more enhanced and now more information can be retrieved from the bar code by customers.
