A PlayStation branded YouTube channel has been recently launched by Sony Computer Entertainment America. The channel will serve to show off game footage and trailers to gamers.

PlayStation gamers can also watch publishers and developers interviews on this channel and can also show their own user generated content.
Here at PlayStation on YouTube, you can watch a lot new game videos for titles like SOCOM, US Navy Seals Confrontation, MotorStorm and Pacific Rift.
Miles Jacobson says in this connection, “The good thing about using something like YouTube is that now we can access to a much wider audience.”
Sony is planning to extend the YouTube channel as a central marketing tool along with quite well known PlayStation blog and website.
