Sky’s HD service to house 26 channels in September
The digital broadcasting war is getting hotter and hotter with every passing day and that’s why every player is trying to do his best to be the ultimate warrior. Recently, BSkyB has announced to expand its HD service with the addition of seven new channels.
Out of these seven new channels six will help to strengthen Sky’s existing large movie sector with HD versions for its action, horror, science-fiction, drama, comedy and family channels.
You will be able to watch movies, like Wright’s cop comedy Hot Fuzz, the Pirates of the Caribbean series and the ever-so-slightly homoerotic 300, in glorious HD.
Sky Real Lives is the seventh channel that will receive HD treatment. Now you will enjoy all your favorite docu-soaps in quite astounding details.
These new seven channels will be included to BSkyB’s Sky+ HD service during the next month and it will make the list of HD channels up to 26.
You shouldn’t consider it the last announcement of HD channels for the current year as Sky is planning to house some more HD channels by the end of this year. So, let see how many come till the end of this year.
