The new version for silverlight has been announced today and with this announcement it seems that Microsoft has decided to give the Adobe applications a more preference over others for the sake of earning more money. And all these new application are capable to be preferred. This new version of Silverlight is much better than its predecessor “the silverlight 3”.

At the Microsoft’s professional developer’s conference the delegates were provided an image of facebook running with Silverlight 4, with quite a new and impressive interface, instant photo slideshows and easy link for the office documents. You can imagine this scenario by yourself just consider above mentioned features and imagine a new and improved outlook of your facebook window. The new version is claimed to run faster than the earlier versions and will zip through heavy weight processing tasks twice as fast as its predecessor.
Other than facebook this new version will also work best with the twitter and it will allow user to edit and publish UGC, drag and drop files directly into the software and using HTML controls within the framework. Thus this new Silverlight will explore new paths for the working of the web sites and software and it’ll bring speed along with some very fine and unique features.
