Selfridges Sanctions Yellow Painted Blackberry for 100th Anniversary
Selfridges is one of the luxury department stores in London, with yellow as its trademark. Soon, Selfridges will be celebrating its 100th anniversary for which special arrangements are being made. The departmental store has commissioned few companies to paint some of their products in Yellow color; the trademark of Selfridges. This sanction has been provided to specialists from tech stars to fashion gurus.
Blackberry Bold by Canada is one amongst the ten devices to be refurbished in yellow. There will be a slight change in its design; otherwise the phone will remain the same as it is. Keypad will see a slight design change, and the backside of the phone will be painted yellow. This way, it will become Selfridges Fashion statement.
Price tag will be difficult to digest by most of the readers; £1,000. Included in the new deal is VIP support, which might imply that by calling the customer services center, one could enlist one’s self for this luxurious mobile phone. Of sure, this limited edition would be hard to get, and not everyone would be able to get one. After all, a specialty must be unique and hard to find.
Other goods that will be painted yellow include Fender’s Guitar and Toywatch’s plastic watch. Endorsed fashion designers include Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith, Mulberry, and Marc Jacobs etc. These days, getting one of those yellow painted goods will be the foremost concern of Selfridges’ diehard fans. This won’t only be a fashion statement; but a symbol of loyalty to the fine departmental store.
