Rumours: Orange May Offer MacBooks With Their Mobile Broadband Dongle
Rumours mills seem at their best and the WWW is getting thicker and thicker with posts related to possible partnership in Apple and mobile network Orange. These rumours have emerged at the time when O2 has almost succeeded to bag an exclusive iPhone deal with Apple. It is being expected that Orange will be offering MacBooks quite soon with a heavy monthly contract along with their well-known mobile broadband dongles.
It’s being expected that the deal between Apple and Orange will be finalized by the end of this summer and customers could buy a MacBook once signing up a two year contract with small monthly fee. In UK, mobile broadband with free laptop offers are becoming quite popular these days. Almost all the major service provider like Vodafone, O2, T-Mobile and 3 are offering such mobile broadband with free laptop deals. At present, Orange is offering the HP Compaq Mini 700 and ASUS 901 Eee PC with its quite affordable £24/month deals.
Let suppose that they offer new aluminium MacBooks, which is available with the price tag of £929, they will definitely charge £38/month to the customers. But MacBook retail price is a really a bitter pill to swallow and that’s why the deal still looks quite attractive and catchy to those who want to use internet wherever and whenever they like.
