Review: Co-pilot for iPhone
Co-pilot for iPhone
Now it is really easy and cheap to get sat nav connection on your iPhone. For just about £26 this new feature can come over to your iPhone. Sat nav feature is looking forth to bring on some big business with its release. The release would happen with the Co-pilot Live 8 UK and Ireland app in App stores them selves. The new application would be following the Navigon’s Mobile Navigator and the NNG’s Igo MyWay.These will be available at £53.
The TomTom has also made a ground breaking release already with the turn by turn iPhone full on application. The £60 app would have several weeks of unexpected probability since the release of the rest of the apps. The hands on for TomTom have been right on track. It is quite cheap, being about half the price of its competitors. The Co-pilot’s guardian company will have the ALK which would attract the undercurrent of capitalizing of the rest of the market devoid of the TomTom. The rest of the sat nav app would call forth no extra traffic or information for the TomTom. The Live 8 iPhone set would be the only one it would be working on. TomTom will however keep having information about the speed cameras thus known.
The iPhone with the sat nav will be extremely easy to use. It would feel like a proper navigator finally and would take you in the right direction to where you want to head. It does not have the fuss of the Apple’s iPhone keyboard design. It follows ALK’s own design which is very chaste and simple. This might strike a bit odd to many but it is not much of a fuss at all.
The navigation display too would be quite the thing with the crispy zoom. This would bring an edgier side to the settings. The 2D or 3D mapping is also greatly available with the new itinerary as well as unlikely Navigation app.
The music application is also really interesting with voice mingling and music coming your way. The mute note however cannot be worked and brings about certain limitations. A music lover would otherwise always be happy with this set up. The single task Co-pilot can allow for 3rd party application too. You will be able to install extra function in your phone in no time at all and get a lot done. Traffic information is also being planned to come along in the set up. There are also going to be Live services and weather forecast with traffic option blanking out at times.
With the broad and bright links, selecting the Navigation approach also comes to be full on code. The input happens to be intuitive as well as flexible with the map pin and even co-ordination can be saved well. You can also just press on an address and find the location proper. If you are in UK you will be amazed at the full fledged and well revised UK postcodes being included here. However even with all the positive reviews customers have faced some real challenges with the initial use of the CoPilot iPhone software. Activation of its entire mechanism has, for instance, taken a serious turn of concern.
The purchasing of the software and its follow up has also proved to be quite a hassle. Even online advice forums from supposed experts have been unable to provide customers with adequate help in regards with the set up activation. The FAQs and online services have also been unable to provide the right kind of information proving the management of customers’ services online a total disaster. Telephoning the local phone manufacturers has also not been a very successful solution.
People who legally purchase the itunes software expect it to start off immediately. However when it does not happen there has to be some of the later alternatives and activation facilities to be started soon enough. Buying this would thus be quite a waste of time right at the beginning period of its release due to these problems. When we become sure that there is no starting off problem then we can certainly get to flock on to this new venture and addition to our iphones.
