At the start of this year, HP brought a surprise for the hardware industry by announcing that they have decided to buy the complete brand ‘Palm’ and then this statement came from HP’s CEO Mark Hurd “we are not interested in smartphones”. This statement creates a doubt in the mind of every person that may be we wont see any future mobile coming from Palm’s side but still HP came back for the statement and confirm this news that they are planning new WebOs devices.

The new announcment has been made at the AT&T developers seminar yesterday and this thing has avoke hope in the palm lovers that thepassage of new Palm devices is going to be continued in future. This statement has been provided by a Palm representative “I’m not allowed to talk about future roadmaps, especially because we’re in the process of being acquired by HP, so I can’t say. But yes we have a road map. We are working on future devices. And a new version of the OS. So I think, you’re going to find the next year very exciting”.

Still this question has not been answered that the future devices will be smartphones or tablets and for this we have to wait for the more confirmed official announcment from the company’s side.
