Now BT vision has announced that its next generation set-top boxes will be able to receive free view HD channels. This is going to be fantastic news because by bringing on the HD channels the user demands for channels will be best fulfilled by BT vision.

Michael Barry, BT’s Head of Programming said that “the project is a work in progress and that there is no firm date for its launch yet”. It has been noted that people are taking great interest in this news and the date of the announcement will get a big customer’s response.

Silverlight 4

The new version for silverlight has been announced today and with this announcement it seems that Microsoft has decided to give the Adobe applications a more preference over others for the sake of earning more money. And all these new application are capable to be preferred. This new version of Silverlight is much better than its predecessor “the silverlight 3”.

This month the whole media got a spice with the clash between two of the world’s most leading companies the pioneer and Garmin. This news came out when pioneer lodged a complaint with U.S international trade commission against the rival Navigation system maker Garmin, claiming of some of its products to have infringed the patents of pioneer.

It has been seen that the two companies were negotiating with each other for quite long over the breakage of the patent license. But it seems that both companies were not able to come on a resolution that’s why pioneer was forced to take this kind of action.

Pioneer has also requested the International trade commission to stop Garmin of the import into U.S as some of those products are infringing the Patents implemented by the pioneers. The patents, U.S. numbers 5,365,448, 5,424,951 and 6,122,592 cover various aspects of a car navigation system they mainly include the automatic erase of the navigation data when the destination point is near.

Windows 7

Windows 7 is one of the most recently issued versions of Microsoft windows for the desktops, laptops, Netbooks, tablet PCs etc. It was released on July 22, 2009. The outlook of this window seems almost similar to that of Mac OS X. One of the partner group managers of Microsoft Simon Aldous said in an online interview that they were very much interested in the Apple OS X operating system while designing windows 7.

Microsoft has strongly opposed this quote in their recent blog and claims that the “inaccurate quote” came from the Microsoft employee who was not even involved in the designing of windows 7. And they were really feeling bad that their own member had given such a lame quote.
