It has been seen that Microsoft is involved in some intellectual property cases in China these days and this success will add up a point for Microsoft in this fight. By announcing the results of this case the Shanghai court ordered Shanghai-based Dazhong Insurance to pay 2.2 million Yuan to Microsoft because of the damages they were giving to Microsoft by using illegal copies of Microsoft’s software.

Basically both the companies had announced that they are combining their Maemo and Moblin Linux based platform efforts into an amazing new thing called MeeGo.
