Minimalism-Inspired ProBook Series by HP
Are you a fan of Apple’s Macbook Pro series? Have you always wanted one in your lap or at your office desk? Did you avoid buying one because of the notorious overpriced tags? HP has come up with quite a Macbook Pro like series of notebooks that it has labeled “ProBook” series. These machines have been especially designed for chic businessmen who cannot afford a pricey Macbook but love the functionality thereof. According to HP, the ProBook series has been inspired by “minimalism”; i.e. plainness and simplicity.
Styling as at a good level in ProBook series, with a combined matte and sleek finish along with a tiled keyboard. Basic operating system would be Windows, but a second option is there which is Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11. Right now, there are only three models in two sizes are revealed; 15.6-inch ProBook 4510 and 4515, and the 17.3-inch ProBook 4710.
The 15.6” models have high definition wide screen display with an aspect ratio 16:9 and have a choice of AMD or Intel processing units. As far as the bigger model is concerned, it runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, features an HDMI port and has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 chip. Beginning at £345, prices and availability is still not confirmed.
