Microsoft Bringing New Plans To Track Activation Hackers
Microsoft is bringing some new strategies to track out the hackers who are using cheat activation codes for using Microsoft Windows 7. It has been notified that Microsoft will soon give a new update to the Windows 7 users that will detect the illegal copies installed on the system and over 70 different activation cracks will be used for this purpose.
The update of Windows Activation Technologies (WAT) is named as Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) and this will be provided on the official website of the company on Feb 17 and the status of this one will be an optional upgrade which will come via Windows update later this month.
The update has been made optional because of the experience of company for Windows during 2006 when it forced all the customers to download the update by labeling it as high priority and because of that several users sued Microsoft over this action. This new update when installed will hang up all those machines which are using the pirated version of Windows 7 and according to the officials all these actions have been intended to keep the customers and partners secure and this is thus a really exciting step taken from the company’s side.
