MacBook Mini: The Rumored Netbook
Apple has yet not announced a net book, where all the top brands are running after manufacturing affordable and functional mini laptops. It is not very strange, as Apple has made its name in trendy and pricey consumer products, and net books are everything but not expensive. Net books are made especially for students and similar consumers who need a full functional laptop but can’t afford to pay for a full size lap top.
Recently, it is being rumored that Apple is about to release its net book very soon. This is just a rumor yet, and no evidence has been attained. According to the rumors, this net book is going to feature 10.4 inch WXGA display with LED backlighting, a 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor, 2 GB of memory, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M graphics, 64 GB of solid state storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a USB port and a rechargeable battery. These features are not very far from an ordinary net book’s.
The main concern is price. Whether Apple is going to maintain its custom of high pricing or not, this is the question. It is being said that this net book, if it ever comes, will cost almost $899. If Apple comes up with a net book, it must contain something unique than ordinary net books, this is the anticipation.
