Hyundai to enter UK mobile market soon
Hyundai is quite near to finalize a deal with Advantage Cellular (a UK mobile telecom company) to start its cell phone business in the UK.
Hyundai says that they can develop such devices as can make people salivate in UK. “We will soon be able to capture five to six % of mobile market in UK,” they added. Aren’t these guys somewhat over-ambitious?
Mobile Today reports that Hyundai is planning to reveal ten to fifteen handsets at Mobile World Congress that is going to be a real big event for Hyundai.
Among these handsets, a Windows Mobile phone has also been included that is expected to debut in July this year.
During the second half of the previous year, Hyundai Mobile was launched in some parts of Europe and the introduced some basic but functional mobile phones there. Now these guys are considering having some share in the UK mobile market as well.
Now we have to wait and see whether these guys really succeed to grab 5% market share in the UK or just have to become the victim of low consumer spending like many other present players of the tech industry.
