This new feature is designed to help you to discover and search the content that is produced by those from your social circle, but it is necessary that everybody in the social circle buys that program.

The types of contents which you might discover from the members of your social circle are: websites, blogs, and other information related to their Google profiles, the status updates like tweets can also be searched and the images posted publically from your social circles can be previewed.

It has also been notified that Google is planning to create a social web team with some recent hires such as Joseph Smarr and Chris Messina. This really sounds like a really impressive project launched by Google and hopefully it will get more enhanced in the future.
