Google has announced a new exciting application for the android users today which will give them a new way to search their phones. This new application has been named as Gesture Search that will let you search your phone contacts, bookmarks, applications and music simply by scribbling out letters with your fingers.

This current application takes you to more heights of touchscreen controls and currently it is available only for the devices that are operating Android 2.0 like Nexus One and sooner other devices will also get this fantastic facility.

Using the application is quite simple, you are just required to install this application from the online Android market and then it will prompt you if you want to use this application for your home screen which you surely will and then after finishing the installation whenever you’ll tick the application icon a black screen will appear, here you will draw the first letters of word which you want to write and then search will be started resulting you the required list.

The people who have tried this applications have given very positive response and according to them character recognition works very effectively and thus the application is a really revolutionary one from the Google’s side.
