Denon, a well known luxury AV equipment provider, has just announced its new Blu-ray player that aims at the entry level end of the market.
This DVD-1800BD will be available with Dolby and DTS-HD audio formats, a secondary audio and video decoder and HDMI 1.3a connectivity.
It also has an SD card slot that allows users to play their homemade HD movies through the player.
You can also upscale your regular DVD collection (a reported 1080p) with the machine.
Users who want to use the player for their CD collection, they may please to hear the there is a dedicated 2-channel analogue output, a whole host of analogue components and Burr-Brown D/A convertors.
The DVD-1800BD will set you back in £600, though it is pricy, keep in mind that it’s a Denon product.
