Enhanced TomTom GPS Units
As the need for GPS navigation devices increases, the leading manufacturers are trying to precede their rivals. TomTom has recently made few upgraded changes in the ONE and XL GPS units, but the best part is that they have not let the prices soar. Thus, improved TomTom GPS units can be attained for lesser prices, now.
The enhanced features include IQ Routes editions and a completely fresh black finish, thus the units look more attractive now. Also, the user interface has been improved a lot; and the coverage of European maps has been increased. The software that has been used plots routes according to the time of day or a week. Thus, the user will get the best route to choose on a Saturday evening, which will be entirely different from the one which will be chosen on a Monday morning. This is nothing less than a “Genius” feature of these newly updated devices.
A trial version (three months) of best fuel prices in the area, safety camera alerts, and accident-prone spots. To keep on enjoying these features, one will have to purchase it after three months trial version.
As for prices, the One IQ Routes edition has a 3.5” screen, and costs £149.99 (UK/Ireland) and £169.99 (Europe), whereas, the XL IQ Routes edition has a 4.3” screen and costs £189.99 (UK/Ireland) and £209.99 (Europe).
