Tablet-centric OS is yet not ready for open-source arena, says Google

Google has made clear that Android 3.0 Honeycomb is yet not ready for an open-source arena, and therefore this tablet-centric Operating system will still be inaccessible for third party developers.

Android 3.0 Honeycomb has been used in the tablets PC’s like Motorola Xoom, but Android’s chief executive Andy Rubin says, “I don’t want developers using it on mobile phones and creating a really bad user experience.”

He adds, “Me and my team doesn’t even know whether it would work on mobile phones, and that making it open-source immediately runs the risk of tarnishing Android’s reputation.”

Motorola Droid 3

Good news for the People, who are desperately waiting for the Droid 3 by Motorola. Verizon engineer has leaked out the photo of this much-awaited Gadget. The picture revealed that it will have QWERTY keypad; its keyboard is in five dimension lines. Hard number keys are placed on the top.

Apart from these changes, it is anticipated that Motorola Droid 3 will be having dual core 1GHz OMAP 4430 CPU, 4-inches qHD display, rear and front facing cameras, no BLUR and stock android 2.4.

AirPlay Apps

iOS 4.3, since its launch had shaken the third-party apps. Now third-party apps can work on Apple’s AirPlay, it will help the people, who own iDevices to flow the content to the latest Apple TV box.

Apple has made some changes in its Apps stores; Apple has added a section where people will be able to view and access Airplay Apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Apple has named this section as “Great AirPlay-enabled apps”. This section includes apps like VEVO HD Music Video app, ESPN sports magazine app and new Sony My Daily Clip app. These apps will be good addition in existing apps.

People will also be able to share photos and videos from Safari browser to Apple TV. Before the arrival of iOS 4.3, people could only share contents from video and iPod apps with the help of iOS 4.2. The iOS 4.3 has opened the door of opportunities for the users of iPod touch, iPad and iPhone.

It’s been a week that iOS 4.3 was announced. In coming days new apps will be available. Wait and watch for the new apps offerings. Day by day Apple is trying to facilitate its customers in a better way. That’s why Apple always keeps an eye on the latest innovations and inventions and utilizes them in its offerings.

British Economy

BBC has earned good repute over past decades. It not only keeps people up to date, but also adds much in British economy by paying £2 on every £1, spend as license fee.

A report reveals that BBC has positive and striking impact on British economy. It’s not the first time BBC is helping British economy, in 2009-2010 BBC added £8 billion to the economy of UK. Now BBC is adding 5.6% higher as compare to previous years. BBC COO Caroline Thompson said, “The report shows that we have been spreading the economic benefits further”.

Thompson also pointed the growth aspect of BBC outside London. He said, “This evidence signals that our move to Salford Quays in the coming months will help build more thriving creative sector in the North of England”.
