You might have heard about one of the hottest Linux based mobile operating system MeeGo which is going to be developed by Intel and Nokia and it was first showed up to the world in the Mobile world conference in February 2010. Basically both the companies had announced that they are combining their Maemo and Moblin Linux based platform efforts into an amazing new thing called MeeGo. Recently MeeGo has got the first proper UI in the developer’s conference of Intel in Beijing. Some of the screenshots have been shown on Engadget and from them you can guess that some innovative and stylish product is on its way.

Windows 7 Migration

Intel on Wednesday has reported that they are facing some challenges in migrating from Windows XP to Windows7 and the major concerns included application compatibility and system readiness. Though we have seen that Intel has worked with Microsoft for the development of Windows 7 into a stable operating system but there are many challenges left for the company before migrating PCs to new OS inside the conventional Intel’s environment. The main challenges reported by the company are application compatibility, web browser support, 64-bit computing and privacy controls and while discussing about these issues in a blog entry Intel staff engineer Roy Ubry said that “It means that a significant amount of work needs to be invested to prepare for Windows 7 application readiness”
