HTC, the king of android industry is expected to release another new android phone for the international markets in near future, the handset as leaked out on Dutch site Tweakers.net is more like the HTC Desire but the main difference is the full QWERTY keyboard coming with the new handset. The name given to the new handset is HTC Vision and it should be better called as a new sibling of HTC Desire with almost similar features and specifications.
As we have seen that earlier this year Apple filled a lawsuit against different mobile phone developing companies like Nokia and HTC for infringing its patents and at that time the Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs said that “We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it”, that was really the turn of Apple but now HTC has taken its turn. HTC has yesterday announced that they have taken the legal action against Apple by filing a lawsuit with United States International Trade Commission (ITC) for halting the importation and sale of iPhone, iPad and iPod in the country.
As we all know that Apple has filed a lawsuit against HTC for the infringement of 20 patents which the device maker is using in its latest devices including Nexus one. Google is not directly involved this case but they are getting involved in it because they know that the lawsuit has been filled against all the android devices and with the devices like Nexus one Google has worked closely with the HTC.
While talking to the TechCrunch via email a Google’s spokesman said “We are not a party to this lawsuit. However, we stand behind our Android operating system and the partners who have helped us to develop it”.
