All of us were pretty annoyed with HTC Wildfire having older version of the Android Operating System, and were waiting for a software update. Fortunately, the Android 2.2 Froyo update for Wildfire has been announced by the HTC. Moreover, Vodafone has been quite vigilant by announcing the same update only moments after the manufacturer’s announcement was made. Such alertness is rare these days!!
But we have a big “BUT” here! A software update won’t let you enjoy every feature that Gratia and Desire HD own; do not forget the hardware limitations. Same is the case here, with our dear Wildfire which, due to some hardware restrictions, is unable to let you benefit from Live Wallpapers and Flash video in the web browser.
Android 2.2 Upgrade for HTC Desire

The Foryo or commonly known Android 2.2 upgrade is something that is the highly demanded upgrade for the Android phones, many companies had announced this upgrade for their phones but the customers are still waiting to let that happen.
Vodafone had also claimed the Foryo for some of its android members and it has fulfilled its promises by announcing the Android 2.2 upgrade for the recent model of HTC ‘the HTC Desire’. It has been reported that from the past sometime Vodafone has been testing the android 2.2 software and the statement was obtained from company’s side “We’re still developing and testing the Android 2.2 update for HTC Desire and working on its approval with Google and HTC. The start of the roll out is days, not weeks, away and as soon as the date is finalized we’ll let you know”. So now finally they have got satisfied of it and brought it available for their customers of HTC Desire.

The September is going to be the month of new releases; today Microsoft announced the release date of IE9 to be September 15 and HTC has also selected this date for a mega event and it has sent invitations to different news media for that event. The experts are curious about what is going to be revealed by HD on that day and the majority says that the ‘Desire HD’ will get its launch on that event.
The statement which HTC has quoted in the invitation says that “Come and see what HTC has dreamt up”, the company is keeping it quite a mystery that what it is going to show to the whole world on September 15.

HTC is getting more and more popular with the new trend of Android based smartphones. The range of Anroid based Touchscreen large display smartphones by HTC is increasing constantly. The new model HTC Wildfire is a nice addition to this range, and is pretty affordable as compared to other new HTC smartphones. Today, I am going to review this nice phone called HTC Wildfire.
HTC, the king of android industry is expected to release another new android phone for the international markets in near future, the handset as leaked out on Dutch site Tweakers.net is more like the HTC Desire but the main difference is the full QWERTY keyboard coming with the new handset. The name given to the new handset is HTC Vision and it should be better called as a new sibling of HTC Desire with almost similar features and specifications.
