At last RIMS’s much rumoured BlackBerry Thunder is arriving in the UK under the name of the ‘BlackBerry Strom’.

Many sources have confirmed that this first full touchscreen model in the BlackBerry series will hit he shelves in the UK in the end of the next month.

According to an anonymous source, “Vodafone will serve as the exclusive operator in the UK with the ‘Strom’ that was previously announced as the ‘Thunder’.

The other sources say that the handset will be available at the end of October as RIM is going to announce in just over a week.

This highly anticipated handset (highly touted in the US so far) will go head to head with the likes of the Nokia N96, Samsung Omina , the GI Google handset and last but not least the Apple iPhone 3G. So, let see which one drives the mad Christmas rush.

This would be nothing short of an HTC dream for the consumers to choose one from a huge range of top-notch handsets when sitting on Santa’s knee.
