Black Wii Lands in Japan on 1st August
Nintendo Wii goes black! Yes, the black Nintendo Wii will be launched in Japan on August 1st. The blacker it is the more attractive will it be. Neither DSi nor Wii has changed their skins since their respective launches. This is why the black beauty astonishes everyone. Anyways, the elegance is for Japanese gamers alone; we have no share in it.
This black Wii is a whole package; accessories will match the color too. That means a black classic controller, black nunchuks, and equally black Wii remote. Right now, there has been no indication regarding the Wii Fit Balance Board that whether it would be painted black, too. Just imagine how beautiful the remote will look in its black cloak! Reminder: it is a forbidden dream for all of us as the black console goes in the hands of Japanese only!
Moreover, the DSi is also in for color change; new clothes are colored red. This red DSi will join the currently existing black, white, pink and blue versions. Launch date for the black Wii in Japan is fixed as 1st August, with a price tag of ¥25,000 (£157). As for the red DSi, it will be available from July 7th for ¥18,900 (£118).
