The World Photography Festival 2011 has been declared to take place in London’s Somerset House, from 26 April to 22 May, under the arrangement of World Photography Organization. This mega photography event is particularly of great importance for London because it’s going to be organized in London for the first time.

The press coverage for Bruce Davidson exhibition and Sony World Photography Awards Show 2011 will occur from 26th April and; the exhibitions will be on display by the end of 22 May. Only a limited number of tickets for attending the award ceremony of Sony World Photography Awards 2011 on 27th April are available. So hurry up! Don’t miss the opportunity to attend the awards. Tickets are available through the official website of World Photography Organization i.e. worldphoto.org. Come to pass for first time in London, the winners will receive their awards at Odeon Leicester Square. In addition to awards winning ceremony Sony also has the intention to organize photography and video-recording workshops to deliver important guidelines to the attendants regarding photography skills and art.

All of us were pretty annoyed with HTC Wildfire having older version of the Android Operating System, and were waiting for a software update. Fortunately, the Android 2.2 Froyo update for Wildfire has been announced by the HTC. Moreover, Vodafone has been quite vigilant by announcing the same update only moments after the manufacturer’s announcement was made. Such alertness is rare these days!!

But we have a big “BUT” here! A software update won’t let you enjoy every feature that Gratia and Desire HD own; do not forget the hardware limitations. Same is the case here, with our dear Wildfire which, due to some hardware restrictions, is unable to let you benefit from Live Wallpapers and Flash video in the web browser.

The highly awaited update for the android platform ‘the Android 2.2’ has got another new confirmation from Orange. The company has recently announced that it has opened up gates for the Android 2.2 update and all customers of HTC desire will get this update from now.

The announcement has been made by Conor Maples on Twitter and it states that “Orange HTC Desire users have been waiting an age for – the 2.2 Android update for the handset is rolling out now”.
