Android Market crosses 20,000 app mark

The android market which has hit the market just over a year has made a remarkable success in terms of its applications. According to some calculations the android market has just crossed 20,000 applications for the Smartphone.

This is rate although lower from the Apple iPhone applications which are about 100,000 but it is strongly expected that the Google Android will soon catch up that position as the rate of the increase in the applications is quite high. The big difference between both the competitors the iPhone and Google android is that 70% of iPhone applications are paid but the paid Android application are just 37.8%.

This is a very tremendous achievement on the behalf of Google Android as this will build up more trust of customers towards the Android phones. Even without knowing this statistics the people were largely shifting towards the Android phones because the applications were very attractive for them and the enabling of Google application on Smartphones was also very appreciated by the people.

When comparing Android with other OS some people might think it inferior in terms of application but it is experimentally proven that the Android applications are easy to use and provide the user same level of fun as the applications from other OS
