Acer has always being one of the most favorite brands developing some highly classed Netbooks and Notebooks and the reliability of its products is another reason of people’s likings. We know that there is no laptop in the world which can replace the desktop gaming system but some companies have developed such laptops which have attempted to give high support to the game and the Notebook which I am going to review here is also the one by Acer which has aspire to reach the high class gaming system. The ‘Aspire 8940G-6865’ is the recently developed Notebook by Acer which features 18.4 inch display and it is aimed at bringing high class multimedia applications.

This all black Aspire 8940G is quite a hefty desktop replacement and carrying this with you for long period of time is also not easy but the style and shape is really decent and the power is just unmatchable. This Notebook also carries some really exciting features like having a quad-core-intel-corei7 720gm processor with a base clock speed of 1.6GHz. Game performance with this Notebook is quite decent and even better than many early Notebooks offered by the company. Most of the games were playing in quite a decent speed and they were tracked out at 50 frames per second and even at 1680×1050 resolution.

The huge sized keyboard gives you more comfort and ease to do your work and the vertically aligned multimedia touch control strip on the right side illuminated by some special keys and a button gives more fast and easy access for the multimedia applications and same kind of strip is on the left side which manages Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options. Thus the high class features are enough to make it unique among the range of Notebooks offered by the company. The detailed description of the features is given below.
