When considered the features of this new tablet it can be seen that most of the things are almost same as that of iPad especially the books, music, internet and email. Along with the new tablet Acer has also revealed an e-reader that has been named as LumiRead that has been reported to closer to market. According to the specifications revealed for the e-reader it weighs 290 grams, 6-inch display and a barcode scanner that has the capability to read the ISBN numbers from the physical books.
The LumiRead can also be connected to Wi-Fi and 3G networks and also a web browser that has the capability to convert the web content into an e-book format.
