The highly awaited update for the android platform ‘the Android 2.2’ has got another new confirmation from Orange. The company has recently announced that it has opened up gates for the Android 2.2 update and all customers of HTC desire will get this update from now.

The announcement has been made by Conor Maples on Twitter and it states that “Orange HTC Desire users have been waiting an age for – the 2.2 Android update for the handset is rolling out now”.

This Thursday the Hotmail users had to wait for quite some hours just for accessing their email and the reason was some technical problem in Hotmail. A Spokesman from Microsoft has reported via email that the problem got started at 3:30 a.m. U.S Eastern time and has affected ‘a small amount of people’, the particular details regarding the number of affected people were not provided by her.

The statement which came out from her side states that “We are continuing to investigate the issue, but can confirm that the majority of customers that were affected are now able to access their Hotmail accounts,”.
