Firefox for Android
The Firefox for the android platform ‘Fennec Alpha’ has now got an existence more than just news; the company has recently announced that they have released this browser for the android platform and it is now available for download.
According to reports the new browser is also available for N900 and this thing has been claimed by the company that the new browser is bringing some extras that were previously not available for the pre-alpha version of this browser that was released in April.
Google earth is becoming one of the best navigation systems on the mobile platform and now Google is bringing more goodness into this platform. The company has recently announced the Google Earth for the android 1.1 operating system and the most exciting thing about this application is that it is now expanding the search from geographical regions to the depth of oceans as well.
Trend which is a very well known security vendor has given its response on the sale of McAfee to Intel and according to them it is “a clear statement to the industry and investors that security is absolutely fundamental to future technology services and products”.
The security has always being the major concerns of the industry but after some previous years when great attacks were faced by some organizations then the strong security become the chief point of focus for many.
Android 2.2 Upgrade for HTC Desire
The Foryo or commonly known Android 2.2 upgrade is something that is the highly demanded upgrade for the Android phones, many companies had announced this upgrade for their phones but the customers are still waiting to let that happen.
Vodafone had also claimed the Foryo for some of its android members and it has fulfilled its promises by announcing the Android 2.2 upgrade for the recent model of HTC ‘the HTC Desire’. It has been reported that from the past sometime Vodafone has been testing the android 2.2 software and the statement was obtained from company’s side “We’re still developing and testing the Android 2.2 update for HTC Desire and working on its approval with Google and HTC. The start of the roll out is days, not weeks, away and as soon as the date is finalized we’ll let you know”. So now finally they have got satisfied of it and brought it available for their customers of HTC Desire.
Samsung Epic 4G
The 4G competition is a very rapidly growing competition of the international mobile world and up till now HTC is the one who has become the leader with HTC Evo 4G, but recently some statistics have shown that some other big competitor of HTC Evo has arrive. The Samsung Epic 4G was announced for the pre-orders by Sprint and the customer’s response has made everyone amazed.
