MacBook MiniApple has yet not announced a net book, where all the top brands are running after manufacturing affordable and functional mini laptops. It is not very strange, as Apple has made its name in trendy and pricey consumer products, and net books are everything but not expensive. Net books are made especially for students and similar consumers who need a full functional laptop but can’t afford to pay for a full size lap top.

Samsung has exposed two of its latest laptops today. These two laptops have been named Q320 and R522. The interesting common feature is the 16:9 aspect ratio, ensuring vivid and bright display experience.

The Q320 has a quite reasonable 13.4 inches wide LED screen, which is pure of the typical bezel issue. This makes it pretty trendy. The 16:9 aspect ratio declarers that it is going to be a multi media oriented laptop, and the users are going to enjoy their HD movies on this bright screen.

Other features include Intel Centrino 2 processor, NVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics card, an optical disk drive and a 6 cell battery, with 4.6 hours of battery life. An exciting feature is the SuperSilentMode, which allows the user better concentration while gaming and movie viewing by reducing the fan voice.

The R522 has a slightly wider screen i.e. 15.6 inches, with 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a battery life of 5 hours per charge. It uses the same Intel Centrino 2 processor as its twin. This laptop also features the above mentioned SuperSilentMode. An out of the ordinary feature of R522 is “the latest medical technology” used in it, as the keyboard of this laptop has been coated in an anti basterial finish, to provide optimum safety to the user.

Both of these portables will be available in stores by this April.
