One of the most amazing things about this news is that it has no inlets or tributaries. This lake 4000 foot deep that was formed about 5,677 BC by the collapse of volcano Mount Mazama. Due to its depth this lake is thought to be the deepest lakes of United States and also the ninth deepest lake of the world.
