Kids who spend a lot of time in front of TV, they have narrow arteries in eyes which show the Heart risk later in life.

It is said that eyes are the windows of the soul. On April 20, 2011 a research in Australia has shown that 6 and 7 years old children who spend a lot time in front of TV have narrow arteries in the back of their eyes as compare to those who do not watch much TV and try to create a link between total time of watching TV and Retinal arteries in children.

The children who spend more time in outdoor games, they have wider eye arteries.

Nowadays watching TV and playing video games at home is the most favorite activity of majority of children and adults but a recent study has shown that too much watching television and playing video games can double the risk of attention problems in young children and adults.

Up till now many studies have been performed on the habit of television watching and this one is the latest in this field and it has been carried by Researcher Edward Swing, a graduate student at Iowa State University. In this study the participants were compared who watched TV or play games on computer for less than 2 hours a day according to the recommendation by American Academy of Pediatrics for children aged 2 and older.

Overweighed Adults

You might be familiar with this sentence that too much Television watching is bad for eyes but now the modern science has discovered some more bad effects of too much television watching.

A research was carried in University of Vermont in Burlington by some US researchers about the factors constituting to obesity in the young adults it was named as “Effects of Television Viewing Reduction on Energy Intake and Expenditure in Overweight and Obese Adults” and it has been found out that decreasing the rate of watching TV can decrease the calories level of your body to about 50%.
