Diabetes has always being the most common and dangerous health problem that is experienced by a huge majority of people worldwide and according to a presentation by Mayo Clinic in the 92th Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society in San Diego, California, June 19-22, the hot weather and diabetes both combines to make a very potentially dangerous combination.

Many previous researches have focused on this issue and according to some reports during the hot weather the diabetes patients have increased visits to emergency rooms, hospitalization and in many cases even death.

A complete survey was formulized on this issue at Phoenix diabetes clinic and in that survey results from 152 responders were analyzed whose mean age was above 60 and they were having diabetes for at least 15 years.
