Dyspareunia

Dyspareunia is a painful sexual intercoursedue to medical or psychological reasons. It occurs in men but is more common in women. It is a common condition that affects up to one-fifth of women at some points in their lives. It is not a disease. It is rather a symptom of an underlying physical or psychological disorder. It may result from abnormal conditions of genitalia, dysfunctional reaction of sexual union or incomplete sexual arousal. The location of pain varies. Mild or severe pain may appear in the genitals, pelvic region or in the lower back.

ATLANTA – Women 40 and older have got many preferences regarding contraception these days. For this age group options were limited to tube-tying surgery and condoms now the pill has come back and the same is true about IUD (T-shaped plastic device). Both are more risk free than they used to be in the past. Even tube-tying is being done via nonsurgical method.
According to experts there was a need of more new methods in this connection for a quite long time. As 40- and 50-above are groups full of reproductive health problem. A number of women have a lot of children and are agreeable to have sterilization operation.
Usually, women 40 and older are a little apt to use birth control. Besides the adolescents, they have the highest rates of abortion. At the same time, these women are better versed with using contraception and following instructions.

“The Journal of Neurology” has recently published a new study which brought up an interesting link between increase in the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia decades later, if you are in your 40s and have belly fat. Dr. Randolph, author of “From Belly Fat to Belly Flat” also commented about this new finding and said that ‘Estrogen Dominance’ can be taken as that missing link which seems to be playing important role.
C.W. Randolph, co-author of the newly released best selling book “From Belly Fat to Belly Flat” says that he is not surprised by the results of this study. He further adds that the traditional medical community took long to establish the link and the most unfortunate thing is still many doctors and patients are unable to understand the underlying causes of neurological function, being impaired due to weight gain and storage of fat in the belly area.
