Diabetes is one of the fatal diseases spreading at a very alarming rate these days in all over the world. It is estimated that millions of people have been involved under the symptoms of high diabetes in the United States of America.

Current study was conducted in Australia at the Institute of Health and Welfare that elucidated a new trouble which is self harm and its needs to be controlled upon as early as possible.

History shows us that a mammoth amount of people would incline towards suicide attempts. It confirmed that the majority of the people would attempt to suicide due to heartbreaking issues, and they would try for suicide in an intentional way. It is estimated that about 7,000 were taken to hospital every year.

Youth suicide has become a mammoth and serious issue in the society of Australia. However, Professor George Patton, Centre for Adolescent Health said that more frequently, cavernous emotional pains could clear itself as self harm.

Music has been trying to set its feet in the field of medicine when it would be utilized to reduce anxiety and contribute towards improving the physical health.The therapeutic aspect of music can help in overcoming mental disorders like depression and even attacking the onset of certain malignant diseases.

At the ‘Institute for Music and Neurologic Function’ at the ‘Beth Abraham Family of Health Services’ in New York City, music therapy is an inherent part of the treatment of the Alzheimer’s patients; it helps them to remain calm and also assists in bringing improvement in their memories. At ‘Children’s Memorial Hospital’ in Chicago, board-certified music therapist Elizabeth Pociask puts music to a novel use for helping the new parents to calm their newly born kids.

It also helps in bringing calmness among the infants by distracting their minds from the thing which is upsetting them and putting them to sleep.

‘Depression’ carries different connotation for different people and it can simply range between “flat moods” to psychological disorder. It may be momentary or may linger on, acting disruptive to normal life.People taking medication for depression typically see a lot of improvements in their symptoms during the first few months, but lagging behind other areas is a sense of hopefulness, according to new research from the ‘University of Michigan Health System’.

Patients undergoing medication for depression follow different pace of improvement and many of them develop a sense of hopelessness during the treatment. This is likely to hinder the treatment in between in spite of the patient showing signs of improvement as he might stop taking medicines due to hopelessness.

Like depression, the feeling of hopeless also may linger for few weeks or for months and in few cases, it continues even after the depression is cured. James E. Aikens, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the ‘University of Michigan Health System ‘observed this during the study.
